I'd say Havukruunu is the rightful holder of the Crown and the mantle of Quorthon. Epic choirs, vikingesque themes and tales from the other times, of the Finnish paganism back in the days before our ancestors were brought to the cross and forced to kneel while feeling the bloody sword of saviour on their throats made to kiss the hand of murderers who burnt thousands, tore down our holy places and took our holy days. Eyes teary I listen to these songs, never forgiving the crimes of the cross! Peikonmieli

Masterfully crafted web of athmosphere and entertvined blasts of force. Soothing. Yet driving. Sometimes demanding trip into the new dawn. The feeling of pain you get is only that of growing strength and broken shackles. The overcoming of whatever binds you down takes a huge effort and lots of pain. But you will be rewarded!!
Powerfull and beautiful experience. Never a dull moment. veganerd666

A true melancholic black metal masterpiece! Awesome mix of black metal and melodic and slow elements, Scherben is my favorite on this record. 15 minutes, sit down and take it in. lensdu
Crushing blackened doom from this German band that counterbalances blinding fury with moments of surprising, melancholy melody. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 8, 2023

It took me a little while, to like this one, the second half of this album is very good.
But the first half is less strong, it appeared as messy too me, the 'metallic' sound of the drums throw me off, whereas the latter half each song is very well composed and made me take to patience to listen through. Sure one that will to enjoy more and more after few more listens, I can adopt this album. Marty
