the-cool-fox With the help of talented session musicians, and guest guitar soloists, Linus Klausenitzer has finally released his debut album "Tulpa." Most notably known for his fretless bass playing from the German Prog/Tech Death Metal band Obscura, Linus brings forth some great headbanging rhythms, riffs, and solos from his musicians while he adds some melodic bass melodies to add a nice touch music-wise. Favorite track: King Of Hearts.

Chained to a throne: a divergent condition Nothing to have control of Leading no one but feared by all His visions will thrive Predictor of wars, a master of statecraft Lonely is the strong Faceless and wild, the last of his kind No dreams can come true He’s ruled with an iron hand Drowning between walls of glass Looking through his window to the coming clouds above Straight through the heart he stabs with words of dread King of hearts, Bringer of war A voice of glory, royal and divine King of hearts, majestic but pale Seer of time Furiously he escapes the penitentiary Thrilled by determination No strength to live without his jar He's half man, he's half ghost Chased and caught, weakened and fainting From exposure to air Not reaching the queen he screams Doomed, back in his cage He is ruled with an iron hand Drowning between walls of glass Rise and fall. On and on. Forever! King of hearts,Bringer of war A voice of glory, royal and divine King of hearts, majestic but pale Seer of time and entire truth! Escaper! Driven by love and lust Runner! Brightly shines the moon tonight King of hearts, Bringer of war A voice of glory, royal and divine King of hearts, majestic but pale Seer of time King of hearts, Bringer of war A voice of glory, royal and divine King of hearts, majestic but pale Seer of time and entire truth!

Deaf and blind, cornered In a place where creatures whisper You seer, You predictor You shout as I come in Glum and grim, murky Lights shut down, occult séance You point your scrawny finger You point it right at me Expertise on masons Iron words, truth creator You seer, you predictor You shout as I come in Axiom Architect Shatters me into a thousand selfs Your jar quakes You point your Your finger at me Expertise on masons Iron words, truth creator You seer, You predictor You shout as I come in Sister, brother A father of twins I have feared this future Without wealth we all shall starve Children, my little ones Forgive me my sins! Years of poverty Suck me in - In your pool of filth

Frightened by a higher will we lose control Adrenaline and peculiarities are what we need In its pureness water turns blue The ghost prisoner appears to feed on light and hopeful faith! They may as well become a ghost Abstract and dreamless Hollowness chases us Who left this place? Torn apart we all go up in flames Lost! Pulseless soul, set us free! You know the past, the good old days Tomorrow our soul sets sail What he says, we will repeat when heat feels cold Then we drift back to sleep The alligator’s out of reach But it follows, sharpens its teeth Different kinds of shadows disappear It bears the moon They may as well become a ghost Abstract and dreamless Hollowness chases us Who left this place? Torn apart we all go up in flames Lost! Pulseless soul, set us free! You know the past, the good old days Tomorrow our soul sets sail Hollowness chases us Who left this place? Torn apart we all go up in flames Lost! Pulseless soul, set us free! You know the past, the good old days Tomorrow our soul sets sail

Six wings, long feathers Six stages that lead man You unveil secrets Ethereal light Watcher of skies Tell where lightless clouds float Altars, so high Divine envoy! We struggle vainly What lore will you sing? Aerial mercy May follow the wind Watcher of skies Tell where lightless clouds float Altars, so high Divine envoy! Bringer of truth Tell: Where will the rain fall? Above our lands Holy Seraph! Watcher of skies Tell where lightless clouds float Altars, so high Divine envoy! Bringer of truth Tell: Where will the rain fall? Above our lands Holy Seraph!

Noticed the hole that increases clamor Bowing his head the knight forewarns His lord can’t hear because he is submerged In a red wine pond Stumbling on a road that’s full of traps Weakened by a specious ally He drinks until his thirst was dry no more Until the heartbeat stops A sword, a suit of armor - Nimble, steady, vigorous A panther in a cage that scratches the glass To warn his ruler Where is the grave of this drug abuser? Where will all his memories rot? Spitting fire from his sober tongue But the knight’s flame bursts. Tempted by banker baron Fries The misjudgment trail is set The lord’s downfall’s marvelled but been tracked Locked up he will sleep A sword, a suit of armor - Nimble, steady, vigorous Deaf is his leader: Down the throat he wants the blade Push it down! Taste the blade, come feel the heat You want the thrill, the joy’s not yet complete Warm gratification in your chest Might cut yourself in two Military strength is what makes him succeed - A one-day bloom Precious life’s the greatest blessing. Where is the shepherd and his flock to lead the way. Deaf is the leader: Down the throat he wants the blade Push it down! Taste the blade, come feel the heat You want the thrill, the joy’s not yet complete Warm gratification in your chest Might cut yourself in two

While in disguise Hiding in pure water It seeks fresh fowl blood Poured by thimbles filled to top O thou! Please rouse it! Please turn the water red And illuminate us! Hellborn, ghastly, yet almighty! Brutish! Vile! Flash the devil’s tongue! Gasping, perky, captivated Livid, pale, yet vital Please hit the seal With the silver hammer! Speak your prayer first. Speak the prayer - loud and clear He will emerge - At first glance puny As white as a sheet - Vast appears the human face O thou! Please rouse it! Please turn the water red And illuminate us! Unhallowed beast Come to save us! Mighty soul Let there be trueness! Gasping, perky, captivated Livid, pale, yet vital Hellborn, ghastly, yet almighty! Brutish! Vile! Flash the devil’s tongue! Gasping, perky, captivated Livid, pale, yet vital

Nights and days Horrid exploitation Time goes by Rich in expectations Climbing the mountain further The silky summit will always remain Turning, swirling in a cloud so drab Free us! Whirling void sits on our thrones Free us! A drawing of what a face might be Darkness is seeking, cries out for light Lucky’s the human soul The lamb is ready for the wolves to strike Let wrath entice They call us Masters of politics These bride and groom Royal couple parted Kaleidoscope of frozen walls, melting hearts Soul mate, husband! Glass divides us No feathers No more shining, just reflections Free us! Whirling void sits on our thrones Free us! A drawing of what a face might be Luck’s not eternal Open the seal fast! Escape before the drowsy butler returns! Tonight’s the night! Solo: Ian Waye Your body’s drained Yet you’re so close! The door has opened No! Stay with me! Be safe! Be quick! Don’t fall! Stay with me! Stay with me! You’re trapped, blacked out! No! No! No! No! Free us! Whirling void sits on our thrones Free us! A drawing of what a face might be

He can hear the laughter in the trees Dull and cold the nightfall reigns Deadly is the winter Frost grips the wind Abstract clouds between the shining treetops In the dusk the boy runs up the hill Lost and lone, howling for salvation Where the flock of blackbirds drift apart They swallowed their notes and halt Left here to die Wilderness grubs shallow graves Guide him the way! Snowblind He wanders through a heavy blizzard Creatures of the shadows! Listen up! Serve to spot the missing one! I am a hole digger, I seek the light Woodlands clear up erroneous visions I can see now near the depths of hell - tribulation, close alleviation In the distance safe in a shelter he was rescued by a hunting man Left here to die Wilderness grubs shallow graves Guide him the way! Snowblind He wanders through a heavy blizzard Left here to die Wilderness grubs shallow graves Guide him the way! Snowblind He wanders through a heavy blizzard Left here to die Wilderness grubs shallow graves Guide him the way! Snowblind He wanders through a heavy blizzard

The lord feels tense Time starts to stutter - Days without narratives He wants to lock his inner void In quest for Completion, stability, attraction and recognition His words well placed He can’t find their sense He sees a dearth - Only a shade in gray After a while he starts to wonder About these manuscripts People speak about its power Concealed in holy walls Secret compartments That’s where they rest - These aberrations Silent as ink Hidden, undisclosed When scars reopen He’s overthrowned So they bleed Seemingly tight Insubstantial They follow him down When blood runs cold Lunar assailant! So Demise! Stupefied dreams Resignation They’re chasing him down Life takes a pause. Time to retrieve it It’s time to soar He consults the monk To find the scripts Waving around in the ceremony The lord can’t see the monk The Damage is done: The glass is shattered Slowly he suffocates When scars reopen He’s overthrowned So they bleed Seemingly tight Insubstantial They follow him down When blood runs cold Lunar assailant! So Demise! Stupefied dreams Resignation They’re chasing him down When blood runs cold Lunar assailant! So Demise! Stupefied dreams Resignation They’re chasing him down

about

Get ready to enter a world of alchemy with the debut solo album from renowned bassist Linus Klausenitzer. Inspired by the German book "Die Sphinx" (1873) from Emil Besetzny, ‘Tulpa’ takes listeners on a musical odyssey through time, exploring the story of an Austrian lord's attempt to create artificial humans through the ancient art of alchemy.

Each song on the album delves into one of these intriguing beings. From the cunning and political prowess of the ‘King’, to the divine messages delivered by the ‘Seraph’, and the evil presence of the ‘Red Ghost’, each character is brought to life through the sounds of melodic and progressive metal.
This album showcases Linus Klausenitzer's versatility as a musician and composer, featuring a blend of technical playing and catchy hooks that will captivate listeners from start to finish. Mostly known for playing complex music, he aimed to make this album a collection of accessible and approachable songs. Bassist Linus Klausenitzer's signature 6-string fretless bass sound remains prominently featured, providing a strong foundation for each composition. The album takes the listener on a wild ride through complex musical landscapes, each track building upon the last.

With its powerful vocals, intricate arrangements, and thought-provoking lyrics, "Tulpa" is a must-listen for any fan of heavy music and anyone who loves to be transported to otherworldly realms.
